Bull Run

This is the most recent of the landscapes that I'm working on. The image is pulled from Russel's Civil War Photographs. I printed it out and re-photographed the printed photo and then drew from that, which gave me sort of a different place to work from.

Souvenir Show

This is my piece for the Souvenir Show at Camel Art Space. This show was the final show at Camel. They've since moved to Ridgewood and changed their name to Parallel. The concept for the show was simple and fun....artists were invited to produce a memento of their work, of the sort that might be sold in the gift shop of their "mid-career retrospectives".
I have tons of my old pens around my studio, so I repackaged them as the "Parlett JP-82 Adequate® Broken-In Gel Pen" each pen has been used for at least 40hours and they're still for sale as an ongoing semi-unlimited edition.

I've been collaging with more of my own materials as opposed to found materials. In these two tests I created some monoprints with an oil bar and collaged with them. Its part of my experiments in creating abstract work.
